If you or your loved one is having a psychiatric emergency, you have several options:

You can call 911
You can call one of the Psychiatric Emergency Teams or Crisis Hotlines listed below
Or, you can walk into any hospital emergency room and ask to be evaluated by a clinician

Below, are several resources which may be useful:

Mobile Assessment Teams that will respond to psychiatric emergencies in the community. These teams of mental health professionals may be accompanied by law enforcement for safety purposes when called to a scene. They will evaluate a patient and can then assist with referrals and transportation to a local area hospital if needed.
